Russian ruble below 76 against dollar for first time in 2 weeks

MOSCOW, Jan 28 (PRIME) -- The Russian ruble exchange rate strengthened to below 76 against the U.S. dollar for the first time in two weeks after Brent price rebounded to about $34 per barrel, as seen by PRIME in data of the Moscow Exchange on Thursday.

The ruble strengthened 1.77 rubles to 75.89 against the dollar and rose 1.68 rubles to 82.92 against the euro at 12:54 p.m. Moscow time.
